Onnia
Family: Trinucleidae
Era: Ordovician ?
Locality: Anti Atlas Mt. Morocco
Size: 1"

Onnia-1

Onnia is Morocco's answer to the Cryptopholius and other blind filter-feeding
trilobites we have in the US. These guys are blind, and you can see the array of
filters around the cephalon. The oxidation of the matrix rock even looks like
the material from Swatara Gap, Pennsylvania! So ya, these guys just sweep
around, filtering up tasty morsels.
Also of note on this piece is that, not only are these guys everything, there's
also another random species on here! I think it's a dalamites related species or
so.
