Hymenoptera: Bees, wasps
There's a very good chance that most of these that I identify as
hymentoptera are actually homoptera. The stripes are confusing; in the green
river formation, when something has stripes, it's usually a bee or wasp, but in
Liaoning they could be cicadids.

This one I'm pretty sure is a hymenoptera. A bee of some kind.

Definitely a wasp!

Definitely a wasp, and its on a different matrix from the other liaoning
insects. This is from the same layer that the special beetle in the Coleoptera
section is on. I'm not sure where exactly this is from, but there is amazing
carbon preservation here.

Another beautiful wasp!

A great wasp! Too bad it broke in half. Great wing venation.
