Splatter Plates
This is what happens when you gather your insects by the hundreds.
SPL-01
This piece is a large splatter plate, or a "Fred Flintstone Windshield" as my
buddy Bill calls it. On this piece you have a piece of wood that's caused some
splatter and embedded into the muck, and then insects and debris gathers behind
the wood due to the current. Rather then go through what all the insects are,
just click on a few of the high resolution pictures. There's diptera, spiders,
lacewings, beetles, snails, plants, etc.
SPL-02
Another splatter piece. This time with 4 spiders, 60 some diptera, a snail, and
a walking stick.
